If I Could Write The Way I Felt

Updated: Aug 28

By Navya Jakhar

"If I could write the way I felt,

with so many thoughts I couldn't pick one,

with the hunger for trying to elaborate what I feel,

but still never being able to do it and yet kept trying,

I'd write to the point I couldn't breathe and nobody could read,

I'd write to the point words fell short and sentences would feel so long,

I'd write like I was drowning in a deep ocean and I was choking on all the water,

staying in the water would choke me and staying out of it would take my breath away,

if I could write the way I felt,

I'd crumble your heart to nothing."
