If I Could Explain

If I could tell you

how much I miss

you in a day.

You would know

how much I live

through you in my days.

We don't say

we need each other

nowadays.

It's understood

but I do feel the yearning

to at times explain.

If I could just tell you

how I feel as I live

without you day after day,

running errands, working

and taking care of our children.

Wanting time to fly

until I see you again.

If I could only explain

I'm neither happy nor sad

nor living nor dead

just floating amidst

all the roles I play.

If I could, I would

explain what I want to do

when I see you.

These days and thể memories

of living without you stay

imprinted within to remind me

why together is beyond

any dream any plan I ever made.

If I could just explain

how much I miss you

every day.
