ICU Uncertainty

An uncertain life, an initiative death

Who do I go and where to shed

Take me back to the life before

Talk me through the night, my ears are now spare

Talk me throughout the night, no sooner cadaver I’ll be

Remove this oxygen mask, I want to speak

To my family a last pretty musical gig

Carrying me on a stretcher, where are they taking me

I don’t want to go please let me be

Don’t want a doctor, I want to remain

Take me to back to the life before

Talk me through the night, I won’t sleep this time I swear
