I Won't Tell

By C. R. Sushmitha

The sputtering colourful wings hid the aching tale of metamorphosis!

The glittering gold conceals its burns and scars to shimmer like what it is!

The pressure, the heat, the struggling fable of a million years lay untold, thusly diamond cuts diamond.

Took too many shores to sip, slurp and swallow and ergo turns an island.

Of what you see seamlessly marching today,

Leaves a trail of plots, they had to crawl with blood stains, red wines, coal mines all their way.

Of what looks like the veins cuddling the hearts,

Might be ropes strangling the cuspids, hanging the strings and choking in parts.

I carry it effortlessly doesn't mean it's not heavy,

Ringing bells of hell, kissing wounds that swell, brushing wands casting spell,

I would yell in silence, tear my lungs in tranquility,

But I won't tell,I won't tell,

The tales of plays that didnt stage well.
