I Wish I Were You

I wish I were you,

I wish I am positive too,

I wish desperately too,

I wish, but I'm not you,

If not for alcohol I'll be sober,

If weren't for cigarettes I'll not make it,

If all of these are a privilege of living,

If that's it, I didn't wish for this,

I've been living, walking, running away,

I've been hoping, wishing, praying if I can't stay?

I've been saying, crying, lying but really, can I just lay?

I've been slipping, dripping exhausted of my penance on Earth, yes right here,

There's period of time,

Limit we need to wait,

Fulfill the promises,

Even if you fill lies within,

You never really know unless you come to understand,

You will not get passed even you trample many lives,

You are the temple, the last defense of Babylon,

You have to destroy yourself first if you wish to see the curtain's fall,

"Let go of me, dear hands of own",

"Stop believing you can be fixed, stop torturing us you fool!",

"It's not bad submitting if regrets were none to haunt you",

"It's no one's fault if your world's view is different from those criticizes your woes.
