I Will Still Pray

I will still pray

for you

and your loved ones

for your happiness

peace of mind

and dreams of heart

and prosperity and success.

I will tell the good earth

and the wise sun

the source of all fire.

The vast blue

down and up

and the dancing wind

fresh and ubiquitous

for your health.

I will ask for fragrance

from the flowers

in the trees

live and green;

the green leaves

for all the oxygen:

unstinted and pure

for your lungs

weak and stressed

as you may recall

you become short of breath

as I, too,

often enough after

a brief excitement

or an extra morsel.

Distance is no bar:

it causes stress

and makes heart

go inert though.

Yet, distance

that brings sadness

and makes one

turbulent and touchy

creates a nearness

a kind of communion

of a remote and exotic kind

wherein lies the love

and all that is good

pure, truthful which is

full of bliss.

Grudge!

You even remotely think

I can harbour

or anger

that makes one blind

and revengeful!

But dear!

You know all this.

We talked a lot

that does one

to another.

But we are one

in spirit and soul.

Remember?

The quantum entanglement!

Whatever the distance

in space and void

or across time

signal passes instantly.

Energy of a kind--

but for me "love"

oozes out

through the most

magical communication

or like a conjuring act.

I know this phase will pass.

I talk to God

and my love

all the minstrels of friendship

and beauty

all the angels of emotions

that they unite

and combine their power

and erase all conflicts

the petty ones

which stand silently

between two hearts.

And they all whisper

they will keep aside

all the differences

and be a party

to our friendship

that we can be back

on track of

limitless love

and pure transcendental bliss.
