I Survived And So Will You

Dreams many came my way,

I heard them shatter night and day,

When i count my blessings they're few

But I survived and so will you!

Never give up on hope,

Even when all else is bleak,

Hang on to this rope.

You just have to wait

As good things come around,

There's a lot more in store,

Just waiting to be found!

The stars shine lesser in my night sky,

It hurts to go on,

I will not lie..

There are times when i think I'd rather die,

But no, i won't give up till everything I try!

Life is about ups and downs

As many smiles as there are frowns,

So if your good times are yet to be found,

Don't stop looking,

They're somewhere around..

I try each day to hold my head up high

I spread my wings and try to fly!

I know when i do take flight,

My limit will be beyond the sky!

I'm not scared anymore to fail,

I know life will not always be a smooth sail,

But in the end it all works out,

I wish this from the rooftop i could shout!

So no one ever gives up before they truly live,

I wish they would just another chance give!

Cause I survived and so will you!
