I Like The Villain

As a matter of fact, I like the villain,

More than ever these days.

He doesn't pretend to be good,

Or better than anyone anyways.

I know he is manipulative, calculative and whatnot,

So many times,

So so many times,

He has left the world to rot.

Yet, I cherish the villain more than any hero,

He doesn't fake promise a good life & happy snow.

The villain is known to bend the rules at every nook and corner,

Morales run even lower,

I don't think he has any in the first place,

Unlike us, atleast He is not lost in the life's brutal maze.

He can be carefree,

and so damn careless at the same time.

I agree, Many a times he is a total mess,

He must possess his own regrets.

But think hard for a moment,

Why do in a World full of heroes, I admire a villain?

and mind you, I am not alone,

I am just a few in every million.

Because to him, Sacrifice is a foreign concept,

He makes his move and its consequences he bravely accepts.

But he lives for himself,

and for the ones he love,

He protects what is his at any cost,

Trust me like a hero, He is not at all lost.

He doesn't bear the burden to save billions,

He doesn't change, He doesn't give up,

Against life, He just tells himself to toughen up.

You know the villain doesn't live for the glory,

Though nobody bothered to listen,

He also has his own horrific story,

Let it be, The details are gory.

Oh amd also, He doesn't want someone else to feel sorry.

The hero has a legacy to uphold,

He can't be reckless and just go for the shinning gold.

The best part about being a villain is that,

That he doesn't have to fit in a mould.

That is what makes his story whole.

As a matter of fact, I like the villian,

More than ever these days.

He doesn't pretend to be good,

Or better than anyone anyways.
