I Let You Go

I was feeling like hell when you were feeling like home,

With my fingers wriggling on the bed and my head buried in the pillow!

I finally let you go;

For your love was still unknown

And my demons made it hard to explore,

For I’ll never know what it is to be with you

As I’m still stuck in the forest under the night blue,

For I’ll always see your face just before dying

But would you ever think about me any other time ,

For I thought you were the one who would ignite my soul

Yet you became the one who fed my demons more.

For I’ll find my light within

Just remember I’m not the one who would fit right in

For you are not the one for me

Cause I’m yet to meet the real me.
