I Hope

I hope that she never loses her glow,

that her joy will never run out but always flow.

I hope that everyone around her will savour and relish,

as any time spent with her is a moment to cherish.

I hope that they’ll be astounded by her beauty and zeal,

her disposition being so unique and real.

I hope that no one will hurt or damage her esteem,

If they do, the greatest words of praise I will deem.

I hope that when she feels alone and reaches out her hand,

I’ll take it firmly and plant myself like a plinth or a stand.

I hope that when you feel that all excitement and fun have died,

You’ll let her take the wheel as then you’re in for a thrilling ride.

I hope then you’ll realise how fun it is when she’s at your side,

don’t question her ways- only abide.

I hope she knows the world is waiting for her, it’s all ready and set,

they’ll all agree that she’s the most extraordinary girl they’ve ever met.

I hope that she will always persevere, no matter the setback,

but strength and tenacity are things she doesn’t lack.

I hope that her story is spoken on every channel and feed,

nothing will ever surpass her; she’ll always be in the lead.

I hope she knows that she can be safe in my sight,

for her I’ll scale any precipitous height.

I hope that the one she gives her heart to- will only give his best,

a devotion that’s everlasting and a love that will never rest.

I hope she gets that, because it’s everything she deserves,

let her illuminate your life and dispel all your nerves.
