I Am On A Path

I am on a path,

Where my heart and mind are saying the same thing.

I am on a path,

Where my values are intact and serving all and me.

I am on a path,

Where getting someone does not mean that I am losing myself.

I am on a path,

Where I stand my ground for what I truly believe in.

I am on a path,

Where small breezes or raging storms, both don’t faze me.

I am on a path,

Where, I let down others, only cos I don’t want to let down myself.

I am on a path,

Where the road is being built as I walk on it.

I am on a path,

Where growth is the goal and not who is happy with me.

I am on a path,

Where every day is a project in resilience for keeps.

I am on a path,

Where I can be kind to a fault and devoid of a return.

I am on a path,

Where my mind is a filter to take only good things at every turn.

I am on a path,

Where humility is my cape, and empathy, my super power.

I am on a path,

To always build bridges, till I breathe my last.

I am on a path,

To be the patient ear, to a soul that cries.

Yes, it can only be me who is on a path,

For change only I can, and I alone must play nice.

Yes, I am on a path,

To rule over hearts as that’s the only dream.

My dear lord , let me stay on this path,

That I count my blessings, no matter what they seem.
