i chose to be a phoenix instead and rise from the ashes…

in a world full of people who follow set patterns blindly

i chose to be a rebel instead and follow my own path…

in a world full of people hiding their flaws behind masks and pointing fingers at others

i chose to learn from my mistakes instead and strive to be a better version of myself...

in a world full of people who believe in camouflaging their image to blend in

i chose to reveal my own colors and be true to myself…

in a world full of people hurting and causing misery to others for their own good

i chose to be empathetic and light up someone's life instead…

in a world full of people spreading hatred and fear

i chose to be the reason for someone's smile instead…

in a world full of people saving fake relationships for their own security

i chose to walk away from all the drama and be happy in my solace instead...

in a world full of people judging others by appearance and wealth

i chose to connect with hearts and souls instead…

in a world full of sheeps that move in herds

i chose to be a black sheep instead and walk alone…

that's what fuels my heart and soul and keeps me alive…
