Woman of Many Strengths

I am a woman of many strengths.

Strong enough to stand tall when my arms are spread thin.

Keeping up with the task that multiple while still trying to win.

And although in this life we go through things and tread lightly.

The woman in me will never be spiteful and rewrite the things that made me in spite of.

I am a woman of many strengths.

To walk in my shoes, you learn how to dance.

Five and a six and a seven and eight on my path now please move out my way.

Pivot, pivot, kick ball change, kick ball change, cha cha, cha cha, rolling my hips and feeling so free.

Quick on my feet glide right to complete, left with a peek so obvious I see.

I am a woman of many strengths.

You playing in my face and showing me your hand.

Setting the tone wrong then you kicked me a scam.

Luckily, I figured out in time before the damage could build so high.

One by one breaking these walls down you left me with nothing, and I fell to the ground.

I am a woman of many strengths.

Putting up with so much but always kept a smile.

The resilience of a strong woman who kept her head high and never lost her crown.

I am this woman who’s been through things.

Keeping God first my faith that he brings.

I am a woman of many strengths.

I never expected my kindness to be objected.

Used and abused by those I wouldn’t expect it.

Misguided and untrusted my heart turns to dust.

Lying to my face that’s your mistake.

You got me fucked up.

I am a woman of many strengths.

Pulling myself back together again.

Naively thinking that you were a friend.

Keeping me in a box like open mail an empty slot.

Powerless and up for grabs for anyone to take a shot.

I am a woman of many strengths.

Worthy in your eyes caught you all by surprise.

Don’t hold me back let go, let go so I can shine.

Gotta show em that I am worthy in this show.

I’m ready to move on, I have healed and I am strong.

I am a woman of many strengths.

Was once afraid of rejection but now I can reflect on mistakes that I have learned from.

Speaking from experience it takes one to know one.

And this ain’t a flex I sit apart from the rest.

I’m coming down the stretch slam it on em and don’t make a mess.
