Humanly

They say, “The moon is beautiful, isn’t it?”

But it has a scar

Reminding that perfection is far

So you don’t need to snarl

As you are the light to his star.

They say, “The Nile floods annually!”

But it’s godly

To lure its beauty

Amidst a little tyranny

As to bring prosperity.

They say, “Examples are no exceptions”

Because in every way you perceive

There’s a way to grieve

And a reason to love.
