How does it feel?

'How does it feel' you ask,

To be me?

Overwhelming feelings of desire,

For something always just out of reach,

Something just a breath away,

A breath so heavy.

A line I can't cross,

Despite how fast I run.

I've given up my speed,

None left to give.

These feelings pour out of me,

Onto a blank page,

Now stained with thoughts and tears,

A page no one will ever see,

A page that haunts me.

'How does it feel' no one asks,

To be here,

To feel so small,

To loathe myself,

To vehemently wish to disappear.
