How Can I Be You

Oh! That is a pretty skirt,

Such a cool pair of jeans.

You have a bold red dress

Very effortless to keep.

My confidence comes in intervals

And mutism stays at peak

My brain fails to function

A pimple pops in heat.

I look at your red dress

It screams Halloween to me.

But when you wear it,

That suits you perfectly.

I am dumbfounded

With the energy you carry within.

My art to live, is not even an atom of it.

How gracefully you walk down any aisle,

Like you are getting married.

All eyes are on you,

Two of which are mine.

I envy your existence, grace and courage.

Because what you see is red

And that seems nothing,

But Grey to me.
