As the early rays of the sun caress the Earth and the hours of dawn arrive

I gently sway to come alive

To help the world thrive and survive

A gentle shower

At the twelfth hour

Is all it takes for my little buds to flower?

My leaves big and small

Wake to the rooster's call

Only to begin work in deep enthrall

Birds perch on my branches so strong

And break into a merry little song

That wakes all in distances short and long

I have a life filled with wonder and glee

Yes! I am rooted but, I live my life in merry so free

But you roam all around

In search of things so profound

But why are you drowned

In misery and sorrow abound

You use me for needs of all kinds

But inflict upon me cruel crimes

Yes, I cry and yield

But have always concealed

But today I, seek not to complain

And want to share with you a grain

Of my thoughts, I perceive and contain

I stay awake all-day

And observe you on your way

Oh humans! Might I give you a piece of advice?

You won't regret till your demise

Look at all around

Isn't nature so beautiful and sound?

Then, why must you bathe in gloom so unsound

Today is a day

But tomorrow will never be the same way

So live each moment dripping with bliss

And plant every thought a gentle kiss

Feel your world

With immense pleasure unfurled

Don't be hurled

By murk that only seeks to feed and be served

Why struggle with that little worm of thought

In your head only to stay distraught

When you can exist with a smile and no fraught

Oh, my dear people! Consider all I have said

And cherish all you seek lie right ahead
