The man's world is reluctant to acknowledge

the only olympian on ground who competes with none

Juggles and struggles to make it the best possible one,

an ideal home

A committed player performs

for the honour of her motherland in a distant world

that she calls her own

The echo of her cries on the desperate moments

she silently hides

and emerges victoriously

A peaceful sleep after the exhaustion defines her festivity

The scorching sky witnesses her jump smash like PV Sindhu

while the load of clothes is stretched and hung to dry

The hiding lizard applauds her five-meter-high pole vault

while the cobwebs are swept in a master stroke

The kitchen window gets a brief glance

of her landing a 360-degree kick flip with a clean sweep

as she shuttles from one task to another and leaves

the Gul mohar tree in awe

every day of the week

The tree knows that she doesn't have the luxury

to rest in one place and gliding is not easy all day

with perfection, style and grace

The home maker is an olympian and a victor

marvels every sport and begins her rotation long before the earth

Recognition deprived olympian is revered among the gods,

with a heart brimming with overwhelming dreams

her glory never dims

Though, she doesn't get medals she still wins!
