നിള ഗംഗയായി ഒഴുകുന്ന നേരം,

തിരുനാവായ

പ്രയാഗവുമായി പുണ്യം ചേരും നേരം.

ബ്രഹ്മ, വിഷ്ണു, മഹേശ്വരന്മാർ ഇരുതീരങ്ങളിൽ

കുടികൊണ്ട് മഹാ ത്രികോണം തീർക്കുന്ന

ഭാരതപ്പുഴതൻ പുണ്യഭൂമി

നിളാ സ്നാനവും ദീപാരതിയും-

ഭാരതപ്പുഴയുടെ സംസ്കാരം

വീണ്ടെടുക്കുന്ന നിമിഷം.

ഭക്തർ മന്ത്രമുരുവിട്ട് നിളയിൽ

മുങ്ങി നിവർന്ന്,

നാമം ജപിച്ച്

ഹൃദയം കഴുകുന്നു.

മഹാമാഘ മഹോത്സവത്തിലേക്ക്

ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾ

വിശ്വാസധാരയായി ഒഴുകുന്നു.

നാവാമുകുന്ദന്റെ മണ്ണിൽ നിന്ന്

യജ്ഞശാലയിലേക്കുള്ള വഴിയിൽ

സമയം തന്നെ

നിശ്ശേഷം നിൽക്കുന്നു-

കാത്തുനിൽപ്പിൽ പോലും

ഭക്തർക്കു മടിയില്ല.

അങ്ങനെ

തിരുനാവായ

ഹിന്ദു സംഗമഭൂമിയായി മാറുന്നു-

വിശ്വാസവും സംസ്കാരവും

ഒരുമിച്ച് നമിക്കുന്ന

ഒരു പുണ്യനിമിഷമായി.
