You may get referred like a witch in a dark robe, Your veil and abaya twirl you like a princess then, They say you look oppressed, Yes, oppressed by their words, not by your cloth of dignity and strength, You may get referred to as a bat or an eagle sometimes, Yes, you have wings that can fly high, They find difficulty in letting you in their circle,

But you find happiness letting yourself in another, You may get cancelled to jobs, schools and graduations, But your veil will make a place for all of it and higher goals, You may get teased, targeted as an extremist, But remember you are wearing a verse, and the reward is piling up!
