Hidden Truth

The gun doesn't care

Who's behind the trigger

Who's before the bullet

Who's wrong, who's correct

The heart knows nothing

In whom it is residing

It has no inkling

Who it is holding

The river doesn't follow

Either fast or slow

Be it a king's command

Or a child's demand

The shadow knows not, the Sun

Decides it's direction

If ego blocks the light

The shadow is out of sight

The trees don't stop their shade

Fearing the axe and spade

The leaves betray the trees, once colourful

They degrade to become biofuel

Truth sometimes hinder truthfulness

Lie sometimes create loneliness

Betrayal boomerangs sooner or later

Be it towards a doctor or a translator

You aren't rich

If you hold a jumbo sandwich

You will one day plough the sand which

Conceals the earth that you reach

Lifeless and penniless

You aren't rich

If you own something many can't buy

You are definitely rich

If you own something money can't buy.
