It’s such a blissful day

I stand before you to say

like the free birds that sing

and

blossoms of varied hue

I proclaim my freedom too!

Yes, I’ve broken the wall

the wall of the world’s approval!

Here I fly

to the open sky!

This is to the ones

who pulled me down

and bound me

within the brutal wall.

The bricks of which are baked

in vanity and hypocrisy!

Here I fly

O hypocrites!

try your tricks

however you wish.

Crush me to the ground;

I’ll be one with soil

and germinate.

Mute me dumb

and tear my tongue,

My soul will scream

with the rising sun!

Here I fly

Look, how I lead myself

with wings that freedom wove.

Hold me hard or

pull me down;

You rule me no more,

You bound me no more.
