Her Dad.

The dad walked out leaving so much unspoken,

All he left was a girl so broken.

Her sadness slowly turned to pain,

it was her mother who always kept her sane.

On cold days, she kept her warm,

She was like her umbrella to a heavy storm.

She grew up to be like her mother,

So much so that she never missed the other.

She moved on

And slowly all her memories of him were gone.

Years later, he realised that he lost.

He had lost a daughter he could boast

Of, he tried to reach out, be sorry for what he said,

but when he called, the line went dead.
