Her Big Dreams , Their Small Expectations

In eyes, she had big dreams

In heart, she carried silent screams.

All wanted her to be just in herself

Before teens, to laugh gracefully in herself

In teens, to be in limits of herself

After teens, to have a job enough for herself.

No one noticed the big dreams

Getting overwhelmed by those small expectations.

Dreams – imagining which was enough to give her chills.

Dreams – achieving which she’ll also be paying her loved ones’ bills.

No one heard the silent screams

Slowly turning in a hazardous fire.

Screams -not letting the dreams fade away.

Screams -not letting her to settle for old cliché way.

Yes, the big dreams are overwhelmed by small expectations.

In search of validations ,All she got was rejections.

But her strength ,Her will power

Not letting tremble her dream’s tower.

One day she’ll be turning her dreams into reality

Shocking everyone with her duality.

Duality of obeying to small expectations

Duality of fighting for those big dreams.

Yes one day she’ll be achieving those big dreams.
