Help Me Paint Them Gray

White sky

with a splash of blue,

oceans full of hue.

Garden grass,

and whiskey in a glass.

Sun setting,

behind orange clouds,

misty evening,

with music out loud.

Help me paint them gray,

it’s all too overwhelming,

yet I can’t feel anything.

I’ve lost us to fear,

The pain isn’t going away with tears.

Spiraling into wicked thoughts,

in search of despair,

like a lost astronaut,

an eternity of nightmare.
