Happy Valentine
By Arijit Dutta
Sometimes love burns, sometimes love goes out forever.
In the light of the immortal ray, the reflection is the flame of the eye.
You are in me, I am in you, inseparable yet divided.
Somewhere in vermilion, in someone else's hand, on the forehead is the strange rule of destiny.
Death is not different, the purpose of birth is the real need.
Yet the union separates, the strange divide of the estuary.
You and I are still one, a line of birds on the cornice of the sky.
Tell you, darling, that love is the Roman history of immortality, eye of heaven sunshine and for me it is always you, so Happy Valentine.
