Hallucination, a mind's deception

A trick of the brain, a false perception

A world that is not real, yet so clear

A sight, a sound, a taste, a fear

A voice in the dark, a shadow in the light

A memory that's lost, a dream in sight

A reality twisted, a mind in a haze

A confusion that's hard to amaze

A symptom of illness, a sign of distress

A side effect of drugs, a mind's mess

A coping mechanism, a defense mechanism

A way of escape, a prison to be in

Hallucination, a mystery of the mind

A puzzle yet to be solved, a story yet to be signed

A force to be reckoned, a power to be tamed

A part of human experience, forever ingrained.

Hallucination, a journey to the unknown

A path that's hard to navigate, a destination unknown

A gateway to the subconscious, a door to the soul

A window to the past, a glimpse of the whole

A canvas for the artist, a stage for the play

A tool for the healer, a guide on the way

A symbol of the human condition, a reminder of our plight

A reminder to question, to seek, to fight

Hallucination, a source of wonder and awe

A reminder of the complexity, the beauty and the raw

A reminder that reality is not always what it seems

A reminder to be mindful, to be open, to dream

Hallucination, a part of the human experience

A mystery to be explored, a story to be penned

A journey worth taking, a path worth following

A reminder that the mind is a powerful thing.
