Ek muddat se terta jara tu ayi jaise bas ek tu h kinaara tha

Nahi nahi muje nahi ab kehna gawara tu mera sahaara tha

Sookhe gulaab jo beech h kitaab ke yaad dilaate mai tera deewana tha

Aate jaate muje dikhe wo kaal

Diya jawaab tera har ek sawaal

Shaam ki tarha tu dhalti bas jaari

Mai chaand akela bas saath h malaal
