Guilty

Guilty of breaking someone’s heart.

I took serious matters in hands,

Only to leave, when it poked me &

Easily said we could just be friends,

The bruises are left on my skin,

The horrors are internally crippling,

All the promises I didn’t kept,

Echoes all over my head,

Loss of the bonding we built,

How can I, not feel the guilt,

The future I couldn’t make it true,

How can I stop living in the blues,

I wish, I could have seen it through,

Could have understood what I really felt &

Won’t be paying this heavy debt,

However, with time, its getting tough,

I can’t measure this pain,

Every day goes a little rough,

It’s been quite long now, how do I know,

That I’ve had enough?
