“Grow up”

Manifesting things that does not make sense,

Has always been some crazy thing.

Found sun when I went to search for the ray and hence,

My dark side was enlightened to every bit.

I thought of years coming up,

Of how the sun would never leave me.

For someone long-lost in the shadows ,sun was abrupt ,

However some part of me didn’t want to believe it.

Because of the poverties of a good past,

I was scared to once again let go.

Of everything i ever wished , when i finally got it at last,

It’s precious to me . I can’t do this , no!

Major part ofme was soo happy,

But i could hear some part questioning .

I had been overwhelmed by something soo crappy,

I could almost feel my mind judging me , grinning .

But my heart’s ready to give each and every validation,

For I could not accept a defeat to myself.

So, i had to question the sun and get all the explanations,

But rain had something else planned , and i couldn’t get any help!

The clouds covered my shine,

Thunder rumbling against it.

With every falling drop, i convinced myself to “be fine”’

And once again i had to let go of everything, not keeping even a bit.

I had been drinking the delusions so heavily ,

But the taste of reality made me throw up.

But i was still under it’s influence, how silly,

And once again i heard myself begging to me to “please grow up”.
