Grey Be It!

A perfect neutral between black and white

A colour of intellect, longevity and insight

Classic, refined and a rock of the ancient

Grey to me is the colour of perfection.

To a few, grey may be an unclear hue

To some others dull and cluttered woe

Grey is the frame to a picture of wisdom

I adore grey hair

A strand of charism.

A colour that stood the test of time

It’s stoic silence, muted and sublime

The colour of old could be green or red

But grey it is, strand of silverish thread.

Preserve the grey, look for the old

Journals of strength to be carved in bold

A matter that’s grey makes home in our brain

Even clouds in their grey, pour a heartful of rain.

Keep grey as your goal, live life to the moon

A day will come at a time unknown

Your being shall move to a deep dark tone

To rest beneath the old grey stone.

So, Grey be it!
