God of Power

This is a story about Neku a boy that's 13 years old, and his journey to getting a level of power no

one has ever achieved. He belongs to the Baryons, a group of superhumans trying to destroy the evil

god Kaioko. The Baryons aren't the only group of superhumans there are many more. You see, when

Neku and his brothers were born they were on a spaceship their father was commandeering, Kaioko

suddenly appeared and launched an attack, on the Baryons. He destroyed their home planet, the

planet Sikowa which they had been protecting for the past 7 decades. while the other brothers were

sent off to the SafeHall (a spaceship that came to aid if any of the Baryons were in danger (named

after its immense hall, filled with high-tech remedies and emergency equipment) to keep their

family line safe his father sent the least powerful of his children, Neku to the planet Earth.

As Neku is sent to planet Earth his story begins and his will to surpass his brothers and participate

in a tournament hosted by the God Nano was foremost on his mind. It's not that Neko was not

worried about his family or what was going on on planet Sikowa if it still existed. Well, Anyways he

needed to get his mind off all that heavy and dark stuff.

This tournament was the ultimate test, a test to determine who would be declared next as the god of

power.

Hello! I'm Neko, well adult Neko today I want to tell you the story of my life, oh boy! it's quite interesting I promise you.

Anyways, let's begin. When I was sent to planet Earth it took a really long time. I landed when I was 7 years old. Yea, it was

pretty boring staying en-capsuled for 7 years on a spaceship! I turned out all right though, because my dad installed a

program on my capsule, that I'm going to tell you about in a little while.

Oh, I forgot to introduce my father his name is Sima.

If you

're wondering how I got to know him better, it was all in the program, it taught me everything I needed to know and

how I got to planet Earth. Well anyways, luckily, I landed right next to a dairobi (someone that teaches a superhuman to

protect the world from evil villains ). His name is Thomas a very kind man he taught me the basics of being a superhuman.

That was pretty much my childhood so let's get to the part where I tell you about my first encounter with one of Kaioko's

minions.

It was a nice peaceful day, I was just normally punching some trees and

practicing until I heard a voice scream "Neko! Neko! your breakfast is ready!!". Ah,

Thomas was calling me but then I noticed something very unusual. It was only

daytime when it suddenly turned dark. Thomas had told me this only happened to

warn us that invaders are coming, Well it was happening! I hurried back to the

house and I told Thomas what was going on. He seemed pretty worried A few

minutes later we heard a BANG! and that was that, geez the wall had broken!

The invaders had successfully rammed and broken the wall that was protecting

Earth. This was it. I felt a river of emotions flowing through my mind I felt excited

since this was my first ever battle in real-time and also a bit scared because I

have been taught that the invaders are always very powerful. I'm pretty sure I

peed my pants because of how frightened I was but the fight turned out well. The

invader called himself Gremlok. So now let me tell you about the fight.

"I will kill you,

" I said, I didn't know how to feel I was

so angry and then I realized my Kyokoyojin had still

been charging and with all my hopes I charged with

everything that I had this was it if this didn't work the

earth would be destroyed by him but me being stupid I

threw the Kyokoyojin. I could see the fear in his eyes.

It was so close to hitting him, come on, this had to

work but then, Something terrible happened, he simply

dodged it. I fell on my knees knowing this was over and

then I heard a voice that sounded familiar "c-c-come o-

on don't g-give u-up n-now y-you can d-do it" it was

Thomas

He said "Huh? just two trash cans this will be a blow" Well prepare yourself G-G-Gremly be-because I'm about t-to end your

whole l-life. He swished into the air with great speed damn he's very quick I charged at him with all I got and gave off a few

kicks and punches, Unbelievably he dodged all of them then Thomas shouted "He is really strong and he has great speed and alien

tactics that we don't know, we need to do something quick!" and then it struck me. If Thomas distracts him while I charge a

Kyokoyojin (an attack that takes the energy from the sun and converts it into a powerful ball).

Thomas charged at him while I started charging up the Kyokoyojin, to do this I looked directly at the sun you know it has

started charging up when the sun rays don't blind you anymore, and then I felt it oh boy! I have been waiting to use this power

and it felt like I was inevitable. Then I found myself seeing something I would have had nightmares of I saw Thomas he was in a

horrible condition and then the worst happened Gremlok put in a final blow and Thomas fell, unconscious I had lost it.

I remembered a skill he had said my body couldn't handle at my current level but as weak as I was right now the kyokoyojin was my

only hope. I had to activate a power-up that only comes to a true Baryon in need. To do this I had to activate my inner power this was

my only hope. This power-up is called Super Baryon, with all my hope that Super Baryon, this boosts your strength and speed by a lot

and gives you a ton of energy and most importantly it increases your durability so you can deal with powerful attacks, I hope this

would activate when I most needed it. I knew this was my last chance because I had used all my energy to charge the kyokoyojin I

went in for a final battle. I gave off a few punches and then when it was his turn he punched me very hard I continued fighting him until

I heard a voice in my mind. It said,

"keep fighting Neko keep fighting".

I couldn't believe it the voice sounded like my father but there was no time to be in shock as Gremlok was charging at me. I

successfully managed to dodge his attack. Something miraculous happened next something that I probably wouldn't have survived

without. I somehow had successfully activated Super Baryon

For a moment I felt a lot of energy rushing

inside my body and then two lines appeared on my

face two yellow lines which was weird because

that isn't an effect of Super Baryon I felt so

much lighter I felt fast I felt powerful I

felt......inevitable. I thought maybe the way to

defeating enemies is to strategies not stupidly

throw any attack as I did with the kyokoyojin. I

charged at Gremlok and he seemed so slow I

dodged all his attacks and landed all my hits I

realized I even had more than enough energy to

throw a kyokojin so I did and that's how I

defeated Gremlok eh it was quite easy for what

was coming next, after all, his last words were

"my brothers are coming"

I would soon come to know what Gremlok said about his brothers. Anyways, after a couple of months, the all-mighty Lord Nano just

'casually' shows up and wants a casual chat. This guy is insane! I can't believe he wanted to talk to me. After all, I'm just a minor. He talked to

me about a tournament he is hosting and said he was impressed by my ability to activate Super Baryon at my age. He asked if I would be

interested to join now, this was a big thing. This tournament happens every decade where a new god of power is declared. I asked Thomas what

he thought and he said I should compete. Oh boy, this was going to be quite the test. So yea after that I again just 'casually' trained with the

all-mighty king Kim(god of wealth) for like 5 years. He taught me many things like strategies and how to activate more powerful forms. He was

training with me on a planet that had 35% more gravitational pull than Earth to greatly improve my speed and dodging tactics. After training with

him I felt confident, I decided after this tournament my main goal was to manhunt after Kaioko. The day came when the selections would happen.

The fight took place on a planet in the middle of the Universe 0(the universe where most of the gods lived) It was a dark planet with a gold

stadium you could see the universe with glistening stars above you. Lord Nano announced that 5 universes were participating so when the

selections came I hope I would be selected for Universe 2 because that is where Earth happened to be. It went like this for universe one:-

The Useva were a bunch of inhabitants of universe 1 kind of like the Baryons of universe 2,

except they all changed their names to Useva.

The first fight was between Kai from universe 1 and Daiku from universe 2.

Honestly, Daiku seemed pretty strong so did Kai. This was going to be a pretty

interesting fight filled with suspense. The referee, Kira announced that the fight

had begun "Let the tournament of power begin!!!" The fight started with Daiku

activating a form he was famous for known as the Whale king. It seemed like

his main ability was controlling water and using it to his advantage. Kai charged

at him and gave an amazing blow to Daiku

's stomach. Damn Kai was fast and it

seemed like his punch left a hole in Daiku

's shirt. Then it was Daiku

's turn he

used the water around him took made it into a spherical ball and threw it at

him.

I was confused for a moment as I noticed the speed the ball was travelling

at would be easy to dodge. Kai dodged it with ease and something weird was

about that as Kai dodged it, Daiku just smiled and as Kai charged at him the

ball suddenly reappeared in Son Daiku

's hand and he quickly threw it at Kai

unfortunately for Kai he was in too much momentum to dodge or change

direction and the ball hit him.

It seemed like it was over and Daiku had won but Kai emerged through

barely able to stand up. Daiku took the opportunity and charged at him and

combo-ed him till he flew off the platform. Then he appeared back on the

spectators' seat to be revived. It was 1-0 and universe 2 was winning. Then lord

Nano announced that I'll be fighting next oh boy I think I peed my pants again I

told Thomas. well here it is folks, I hope I don't die.

I was fighting against Useva 15 she seemed pretty robust after all she was a

Useva. I asked Daiku for some advice before fighting her and all he said was to give it

your hardest she's mastered dark forms and use light elements if you can also use

the power-ups King Kim taught you. Lord Nano announced,

"THE FIGHT STARTS IN

3.........2..........1........ GO!!!!!".

The fight began with Useva 15 activating some type of dark form. I charged at her

with a Kyokoyojin, ready to blast it into her. She dodged the first attack but oh no

not so fast, King Kim also helped me master the power of teleportation so I

teleported back near her and blasted it at her. She flew back and then I realized she

had used some type of shield against me. I thought about what I could do and

remembered King Kim had taught me a light form. I hoped it would work because I

could already see Useva 15 make a bunch of arrows to throw at me and when it was

the right time.......... I activated the light form King Kim taught me(Light prince). As she

threw the arrows at me I bent the wind around me and made the arrows go around

me and then back at her again. She growled at me and dodged the arrows hmph not so

fast I again bent the wind and attacked her again but this time she wasn't paying

attention and the arrows hit her straight at her back. It seemed like this was it and

I had won but oh boy was I wrong SHE THEN WENT ON TO ACTIVATE THE UNFORGIVABLE

FORM, UNCIHOR!!! I COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EYES SHE HAD ACTIVATED UNCIHOR. If you

don't know what that is give me a sec I'll explain it to you. A long time back the

Useva's did a very good deed of beating a dragon that was devouring Universe 0's

planets (Universe 0 was where the gods lived) to bless them the gods granted them a

wish. They asked for a new strongest form that only member's inside the Useva group

could activate. This would be the strongest form of Universe 2

She charged at me with godly speed it was

like I couldn't even see her let alone dodge her

she landed kicks and punches on me at this

point I was weak I had already used all my

energy activating Light prince. I barely had

enough left. I would have to think of something

fast before she beats me! and then it struck

me what if I activated or tried to activate

Super Barypon 4

This would be a very risky move as when you enter this mode your speed increases but your strength decreases greatly also the amount

of energy you have also increases by a lot. Aah if only she could give me a few seconds to charge up then she hit me straight in the stomach

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH THAATT'S ITTT SUPER BAYON 4!!!!"I said, I am not sure how I activated it on the spot usually it would take quite

some time to activate. I had to stay cautious as my durability had decreased greatly. my body felt lighter than ever before I felt like I

could be the next sonic! and the good thing was, I could now clearly see Useva 15's attacks and she seemed very slow I teleported behind her

gave a punch, and teleported back I couldn't risk giving off more than 3 punches and getting hit back, after all, she was on her strongest form

and I was weak. I noticed this weird mist around her and it seemed like every time she attacked she would use some of the mist so I knew

what I had to do I had to keep dodging her attacks until this mist runs out. After a while of dodging the mist was barely visible I guess

that's why you don't see the Useva's use Uncihor that often because it seemed to have limited energy. Finally, as I waited for it to

completely run out it did.

I charged at her with all I have got and finally, defeated her.

Hmm maybe that's why no one activates their strongest form in a

small fight maybe speed and agility was the key to winning this

fight. Maybe power barely mattered. When Son Daiku fought his

power was strong but Kai had speed, the only reason he won was

because of Kai's durability it only took one attack to beat him.

Anyways after that pep talk with myself, I saw Useva 15

appear on the spectators' seat. We were winning what were the

odds that Universe 1 would win now as one of their strongest

players had been beaten but also we had used our two strongest

players (Me and Daiku). Senjo, Kaido, and Thomas had a good

chance of winning too. Senjo and Kaido are brothers that have

insane speed and Thomas also excelled in speed being able to run

and dash on a planet 70 times the gravitational pull of Earth. It

seemed we probably would win.

The next ones fighting were Senjo and Kaido vs Useva 16. Senjo and Kaido were considered

one because you know Senjo the dragon can't fight without Kaido telling him what to do and

Kaido couldn't fight because he would easily be beaten. This was going to be a tough battle

because Useva 16 seemed like the strongest contender from their team. Lord Nano paused the

tournament since two people were fighting at once we did need one more contender. He asked

if anyone one of us could volunteer and of course, my stupid brain told me to volunteer. So

yeah I would be fighting Tentecus, oh boy I kinda wished I had gotten Useva 18 because she

seemed like a fly but you know never underestimate. Somehow she was stronger than Kai and

Tentecus on the leaderboard I just don't know HOW! Also to make it easier to explain I'm

going to be calling Senjo and Kaido, Sendo. Ok, the fight started off as Sendo took off and flew

to the skies. Oh boy, this was going to be an unfair fight to Useva 16, huh and that's exactly

what happened. I'm just gonna quickly summarize the fights because it would take a lot of

time to explain all of them. Also, you would get bored and wouldn't want to listen to the

story! All right let's continue, Sendo kept throwing fireballs at Useva 16 and all he could do

was dodge! But then Useva 16 teleports behind them and then stabs Kaido since that was the

only weak spot Sendo had. Then it's Thomas's turn now ALL RIGHT LISTEN OK! I KNOW A BUG

(I'M TALKING ABOUT USEVA 18) OVERTHREW THOMAS but DAM!!! That thing was powerful it

transformed into a HUGE MONKEY!! and crushed Thomas's bones luckily the emergency team

were able to fix it in a couple of seconds. When it was my turn to fight Tentecus though, I

only had to use a Super Baryon 2 to defeat him he seemed fairly easy to beat.

It seemed like Universe 2 had beaten Universe 1 and as Lord Nano flicked his fingers they

disappeared I felt quite sad but I had to prepare for what was coming next. So after that,

Universe 4 beat Universe 3, and then Universe 5 beats Universe 4 because come on Universe 5

literally had the god Winter fighting with them and it was allowed because he was mortal and

didn't have the abilities to use overpowered techniques and magic.

The last set of games were going to be between Universe 4 and Universe 5. Although as the fight between Daiku and Ino was going to start, we

heard a pause from Kira he said "I can't connect to one of the teams and the others have sent me a code red!". Daiku pointed out that the

shield has a crack in it!! Someone intruded the walls protecting the stadium near where Lord Nano was seated. We heard a bang below him and

then I saw him. I saw someone that had killed my father and brothers, I saw someone that had destroyed my home planet Sikowa, I saw

someone I hated so much, I saw Kaioko. NOW HOL UP KIDS there are a few rules before deciding to charge at a god. Don't do what I did and

charge at him because trust me it hurt he stopped me from my hand spun me around and threw me to the spectators' seat. "OI OI OI I just

came here to join the tournament don't be rude" he said "Kaioko you can't join the tournament you aren't a good god you are impulsive and

unpredictable sorry I can't let you in "Lord Nano replied. I could feel the temperature rise "Fine you asked for this" said Kaioko. Kaioko was

quite a dangerous opponent. We could win this game if we developed some kind of strategy or found his weak spot as of now I couldn't find any.

It would take a miracle to win this fight

He suddenly charged at Daiku and me since we were the only ones on the field we both dodged it but he

teleported behind us and hit us on the back. I told Daiku we need our strongest forms to fight him so I

activated Light prince and he activated a new form, as he liked to call it, Iron Maiden named after the

torturing device his body suddenly spiked he looked like he was a cactus made out of Iron although in a

little while he also grew muscles I wasn't sure that whether this would increase his power or speed. As of

now, we needed both. Daiku told me to attack from the back and he attacked from the front as he charged I

teleported behind but I knew he could spin and hit us both so as Daiku attacked from the front I attacked

from the side and we got him good. He went flying off into the distance I heard a chuckle like a whisper and

then I heard "Oi oi oi that was just a clone all right I'm much more powerful than that" I heard Kaioko

whisper and then he PUNCHED ME SO HARD I WENT FLYING OUT OF THE ARENA AND SINCE THE SHIELDS WERE

BROKEN I DIDN'T SPAWN IN THE SPECTATORS' SEAT! Luckily Ino, Ono, Eno, and Winter helped me and said the

only chance I have at beating him is with speed and they would continuously heal me so I would never run

out of energy or blood. Now there are a few things King Kim told me while fighting a dangerous opponent:-

1- it is important to keep your blood level stable and not use a lot of energy

2- When there is enough energy in you, you will activate a new form without trying to activate it that's

one way your body is built differently

3- After Super Baryon 4 comes your strongest form which is unknown to me

I charged at him but there was a force field around him that didn't allow me to attack him. Then he turned around, flew back and ACTIVATED HIS

STRONGEST FORM most of the gods were believed to have a strong form where they completely change looks. He honestly looked very intimidating at

this point I wasn't sure I was getting enough energy because I still wasn't finding a new form that I could evolve on. When you get a new form it's

like a sneeze you know that the sneeze is coming, and you get a ticklish feeling inside your nose. I could see that Daiku barely had enough energy and

told him to back off then Kaioko said,

"I destroyed your home planet but you killed my most loved brother, Gremlok he had been with me since I was

a child this is revenge". This is what Gremlok meant he was weak but this guy is strong, I'm getting ahead of myself he is a god anyways.

I charged at him and fought with him and as soon as I got hurt, Ino, Eno, Ono, and winter were ready to heal me I continued fighting for a while, I

barely had any energy left and I had done no damage o him. Then he said "This is getting pretty boring imma end this" he then charged at me and

sucker punched me hard. I fell to the end of the stadium I couldn't feel my body I closed my eyes..........

I saw nothing but a white place I couldn't believe my eyes it was my home Sikowa I had learned

about it when I was capsuled, but this place was white everything seemed to glow in a thin and calm

way. Leaves from a nearby blossom tree landed on my head had I died I didn't know if was I dreaming

I didn't know I heard footsteps near me I turned around and I saw someone very special someone

close to my heart someone's voice that gave me the motivation to fight when I was about to die

"Papa? is that you??" I asked "Hello son, it's been a while hasn't it" it felt unreal I couldn't believe I

met him after so long I saw his face after so long. "Have I died? can we live in peace together now?

has Kaiko won" I asked "This place is what you want it to be I'm just a human living in this realm,

listen, Kaioko has only won if you let him win the fight with your willpower, not your smartness" he

replied "Bu-But he's a god and he just went to his strongest form" I said

"Then you go to your strongest form I know Neko I can feel the energy within you, you have gathered

enough to go to your strongest form you just need to find it" he replied, he gave me a last smile, and

then everything went black 'I'm going to kill him IM GOING TO KILL HIM' I felt a load of energy rush

out I could feel I was about to unlock the next form and then it happened...

There was a gold aura around me two pieces of my head broke, and Antennas came out of them I

was wearing a long shirt with purple glowing stripes that changed colours. I got the super vision I

could scout far off into the distance. My ears changed and I could hear a lot clearer. I felt for the

first time that I was READY I had always doubted myself and now I never will AGAIN.

I opened my eyes, I saw all around me everyone was gasping I could see Daiku barely on his knees and Ino, Eno, Ono, and Winter exhausted and

then there was Kaioko. OH BOY!! this was it, big fella, I teleported to Daiku and teleported him to the spectator's seat dam I felt fast I did that in

I think less than a second. I charged Kaioko and oh boy this time he couldn't dodge my attacks this time I kept punching him. He fell to the ground I

could see him panicking he then proceeded to teleport to the top of the stadium and hit me with a sonic ray blast. I wasn't scared this time I just

stood there as it came closer to me I bent the wind around me and made it go back to him. He made a squat position with his hand joined and he

blocked the ray suddenly everything turned slow he absorbed it into his fist and closed his eyes he remained like that for a while and then suddenly

threw it at me. This time it came much faster I wasn't sure I could control this but it was worth giving a try, as soon as I tried to control it, it

suddenly changed direction and when it was close to me it changed the target again and hit me. It was fine though, It didn't hurt much I then

charged a new special attack that King Kim taught me it was when you would open a portal to the sun and then open it up again wherever you want

this would give out enormous heat and would blind the opponent. The attack is called Dama named after the retired god of the sun Damasun.

My mind thought of a plan, this was my last hope of beating Kaioko since it would take too long if

I just fought him. If I opened a portal very close to the sun and as Kaioko was charging me I opened

the other in front of him he would go straight into the portal and die as he heads into the burning

lava oceans of the sun. To do this though I will have to make sure that he had a lot of momentum

built up so he couldn't change direction. I flew back giving the idea that I was going to charge up an

attack. This would make Kaioko think this was the perfect chance of killing me. My plan worked,

although if he teleports mid-attack then it wouldn't work. I had to make sure that the portal I open

is very very close to the sun. I focused hard and opened a portal next to the sun I could see him

charging at me oh boy this was it and when the right time came I opened a portal. Time slowed down I

could see Kaioko about to enter the portal so close come on!!! and as he went it I closed it. Whenever

a god dies every Universe suddenly turns red- WHOOOOOOOOOOOO IT DID THE SKY TURNED RED THE

VICTORY WAS OURS. everyone cheered as Lord Nano blasted fireworks into the sky. He announced,

"On

that note, welcome Neko to the side of the gods" and yeah that was it. This was my story of how I

became the god of power. Well, I hoped you enjoyed that story! and have a good day.
