Glistening Tears Inside the Bottle

Step forward I beg you please, I must pursue you with ease

Hush now, I’m scared of what I feel the heart is to tease

Can I be the star that you often gaze?

You fail to reach my soul for you only see nothing without my rays

I saw a bottle with your name on it as a comfort I shed my tears on it

As the tears dripped from the rim to the bottom it lit

I knew that this could be the light for my world to fit

I was at peace so in the moonlight I sit

I saw you again, thorns of rose had impaled on me

My tears called the bottle and the light I see

It glistens as my tears were filled with melancholy

It was a lie that comforts me unknowingly

The bottle saw the ocean inside of me

Waiting for the shine but, mine was gone completely

As the bottle glows, I was on the verge of insanity

I never thought that pain for me was this lovely

As much as I wanted to keep this bottle

I’ll dry out and won’t fight my own battle

And I wish for myself a castle

Letting go of my glistening tears inside the bottle
