Glass

Updated: Jul 30

By Jiah Zahid Abdulla

Two broken pieces,

Longing for our other half.

I found you and you found me,

But only to break my half

Into two more halves.

I feel like a broken glass.

And the shatter I hear

Every moment,

It hurts my ear.

You secretly kept stealing,

Stealing small parts of my being.

And now, I’m searching for the

Missing pieces

I want to put myself together again!

I long to be whole.

I long to be the glass I was before.
