Give Away

She met him in a classroom,

but never looked towards his way

Yet they were laughing upon her pages,

because her pen drew the funniest face.

Talking at night was the only time,

She committed that love is a crime.

The most beautiful ruin of her life

No guilt for a pretty smile

She loved to watch stars on winter nights.

She would never shut her hazel eyes.

She could feel him by her side.

But one word broke her into cries.

She has been hearing words from people.

She has been wondering around "their place".

She is standing holding the door knob,

Twisting it in a hesitant pace.

It is easy to give up a habit.

It is easy to give away the place.

But when it comes to a person,

Why it has to be lifeless days?
