Ghost In The Shell

Amidst the sea of mirage

I can see myself through the cracks

I couldn't recognize my form underneath my flesh It is hard to see the ghost in the shell

I am a host of colorful dreams

Yet they interchange with the darkness inside I don't see it as a battle

I see myself like how I see the world Complex

Spontaneous

Barren with good and evil

Like gravity, the universe has no favorites

I learnt no soul "earns" their way to heaven

Our efforts are but a speck in the eyes of the cosmos

We follow a narrow path of our comprehension of cause and effect We end up having a tunnel vision of reality

We are focused on discovering outer space

Yet we are not bothered to discover what lies within the ocean

Conscience elevated and crippled the human condition simultaneously Our endeavor to make sense of the world led to progress Paradoxically, it is leading to our downfall

It is unnaturally natural

Nature can give life to a tree by raining on the seed planted It can also take it by striking lightning
