Gem To Preserve, Secret To Reserve

He was a truth to behold.

Lie to be told…!

Fuzz over face to comfort,

dandelion spikes if outburst.

Blinding my darkest hours with symphony,

lyrical lights, held his company…!

Secrets full in fists.

Scents in rainy mists.

Present in my heart pounding sorrows,

hiding the happinesses in our deepest burrows.

Staying in me for now and forever.

Loving him a little less, yet a lot more

than a lover.
