Friendships Hurt More

Love can be pure and bright as the stars.

And it will spread its light fast as cars.

But once it ends, hearts will be locked in bars.

By leaving them with lots of painful scars.

Relationships will bring you the worst pain.

So far it is the truth behind what we have gain.

What about friendships. Have you tried that lane.

Because if it ends, tears will fall like a rain.

Attaching to a friendship will be a great story.

But going too far will erase that glory.

Once they change, your heart will worry.

It hurts you more than a relationship. I’m sorry.

A friend is a friend. No matter the bond.

So don’t get excited over what’s beyond.

Next time if I ever tried to overly respond.

Tie my arms and throw me into a pond.
