Freedom

By Rhea Wadhwa

Freedom means to be free,

But, how are we free?

No garden, No play,

At home we all stay,

Miss those days around the tree,

Are we truly free?

At home we sit and study,

Without any buddy,

Friends on Zoom we see,

Are we truly free?

Back to school with a bag and mask,

This is the least we can ask,

A ray of hope we all can see,

For sure now we are on the path to be free…..

(this poem was written just when physical schools started post COVID lockdown)
