Freedom

The birds fly free,

The clouds roam free;

The butterflies and flowers dance in glee.

Then why o why, should I be chained, like the tree?

The tree like me,

Is so called free.

Do we have freedom in our destiny?

The birds are free to fly, in the bright blue sky….

The humming of the bee,

Reminds me and the tree

That we can never ever be so carefree.

Life is long, with lots to care;

Peace of mind is very rare.

We are all alone with no one to share!

Life has made it very clear

And instilled in my mind a fear:

That neither the tree, nor me,

Shall never ever become free.

But I believe,

We shall one day become free,

When death visits….

Me and the tree.
