"Fragile. Handle with care."

Read the carton in a print fair.

Delicately picking it up

He placed it on an elevated top.

Unpacking it with utmost care

He looked at it's colour fair

Glistening white with a little sparkle

A flower vase with a little crackle.

Shining under direct sun

Placing it he said, "Done!"

The adorned jewel of the room

The highlight and attraction of the room.

And so it was celebrated everyday

And it was decorated everyday.

Adorning different types of flowers everyday

Giving the breath of freshness everyday.

The flowers remained fresh for some time

And then they completely lost their lime.

So they had to be changed from time to time

So that the attraction doesn't change it's lime

But now he became weary of doing all this

Replacing flowers everyday isn't bliss.

Also he had to make sure it's dust free

Then only it will be a source of glee.

Reduced effort and care

Brought artificiality in there.

Now the vase smelled better than ever

He replaced nature with wit and clever.

Artificial flowers

Artificial powers

Artificial smell

Artificial gel.

The room freshener smells better than flowers

It lasts more than just few hours

Flowers always look fresher than ever

And so the vase looks better than ever.

But then it didn't attract anyone anymore

It didn't had it's attractive charm anymore

No one came to admire its beauty

No one came near to it for tea.

Seeing it losing the charm

He decided that it's no harm

If I just change its place

And maybe it might show its grace?

In all that re-placement chaos

It was destined to gather moss.

Keeping it at the far corner of the room

Everything was doomed.

"Fragile. Handle with care."

Was completely forgotten now

Gathering heat and dust there

Was the only thing it received now.

Then on one fine day

He remembered

That he put a beauty away

And just then something was heard

The corner was empty

And the vase was shattered completely.

He cried, but in vain

The delicate endured so much pain!

And then he gathered each piece of it

And put it in a box bit by bit.

Then putting it away from there

The box still read -

"Fragile. Handle with care!"
