"A pointe shoe is not ready to dance when it is new. It must be softened, shaped, and broken in before it can move with the dancer. We often wish we could avoid the seasons that hurt us, but sometimes it is through the breaking that God refines us, strengthens us, and shapes us into who He is calling us to be. This piece is a reminder that our broken places are not beyond God’s purpose. What may feel like pain, loss, or uncertainty to us can still be part of His work in our lives. We may not always understand the process, but we can trust the One who is shaping us.
