Forever together, yet not...

Original Submission by Diksha Nalawade

Forever together, yet not ...

Do you remember ?

The time when you kneel down,

And you gifted me a crown;

Do you remember ?

When thing were going wrong,

Then we used to write eachother song;

Do you remember ?

The first time you saw me crying,

Making me smile that is all you were trying;

Do you remember ?

Our first night,

We were cuddling eachother so tight;

Do you remember ?

We used to have a huge talk,

When we used to go for a walk;

Do you remember ?

The time i was severely ill,

And we together payed all our hospital bill;

Do you remember ?

When Doctor told me that I'm going to die,

And you told him it was a lie;

Do you remember ?

You did everything for me to save,

But death is all now I crave;

Do you remember ?

This is our last day,

Tell me all the things you want to say.

I know the time is less,

And all the dreams we created I made it all a mess.

The day I will die I will ask God why he was so cruel to me that he stole everything in my life, Even my title as your wife .

I know it is hard for you to go through this pain,

I will meet you in the form of rain.

So you plant a tree and I make sure it grow,

I know you keep my things and won't throw .

It's time for me to leave you forever,

And don't forget me that's my only favour

At my grave I know there will be some people who will hype,

But you my dear , don't cry because I won't be there for your tears to wipe . We promised eachother that we will visit some places and go on a trek, But leaving you is the only promise I will break.

Hope you a good life ahead,

It's really hard for me to leave you when I'm lying on my death bed.

And finally I want to see you smile,

Because the sun is settling and it's only a little while.

I hope you complete your dreams all alone,

Because the next day you open your eyes and I'm already gone.
