Footsteps are liars

They caught you solemn in happiest of days

They walk on the paths you throw aways.

They force the terrain to threat feels

Hide away from scents that heals.

Footsteps are liars

They leave marks for the one who needs

But got followed by the soul with devilish deeds.

They thump in veins to caress the light

the reason is casual - your hopeless fight.

Footsteps are liars

Cause the marks were faded

that moment wishes and hopes all traded.

You chose the solemn, walked the paths you thrown

You forced the threat and scents were blown.

Then you called the devils to have a fight.

Nights passed and all this ever washed off desires

You got nothing so said - footsteps are liars.
