Fluctuations
By Avishi Verma
Teenage is a beautiful age, with a number of complex stages.
Underestimating it is our mistake while, proving us wrong, is what it does.
Number of hormonal changes with innumerable emotions, friendships, relationships and heart breaks are all its phases.
With a complex of indignation and anxiety fixed in our minds.
Achievements are not easy to digest, but failures, are way more difficult to accept. A number of laurels come in, with the burden of studies and a drop in confidence.
Days are getting harder while our minds develop, making priorities and setting off casualties is all what it costs.
Burden of responsibilities, expectations and career on our infirm shoulders, with a little dose of self assurance to get back in force.
Being ourselves is the most difficult part but once we learn to accept, we learn to live and at the end it's all ours. Overthinking, freaking out and blabbering are evident but what about self doubt, as overshadowing fear is forever challenging.
Feeling fluctuate, without realisation, becoming a little less sensitive and a little more mean with thousands of questions all around and solutions too complex to understand.
Conclusively the flavour of adolescence is a blend of sour and sweet, just like a mysterious roller coaster ride, with innumerable ups and downs ceased with exposure to the outside world and teen experiences.
