Finding You

Immersed in the moonlit sky,

Beyond the happy ending,

Above the glittery hue,

Collapsed in blue,

I found you so rich and true.

Amidst the soft drops of water,

Hiding depths of pain.

In the peaceful sound of waves,

Under the corals and the pearls,

I found you as a broken art.

Dipped in the reds and golds,

Shading myself in bold,

Drowning in soda and scotch

With sips of sea breeze,

I found you blushing at me.

Creating cookies in hearts,

Sprinkling sugar on souls,

Whooping by my mind,

Glowing with glittery dreams.

I found you in chipper chuckles.

In the cosy warmth of blanket,

Chuckling on funny whispers,

Dreams faded into nightmares,

And lullabies hushed to goodbyes,

I found you with sleepy eyes and evil smirk.

Far away from the stratosphere,

Closer to the mesosphere,

Decreasing the temperature,

Influenced by the gravity,

I found you escaping the space.

Take me to the neverland,

Pick me from the shadow of your soul,

Bring me hope and happiness,

Till it covers my memories of past,

I found you in a messed up night.

Sleep beside me,

On a pillow of cloud,

Dance with me,

On a frozen dew,

I found you being alone and happy.

Let there be fire and ice,

For the day you’ll have no one to weep.

Let there be consistency,

In a world of moderate love,

I found you marking your peace.

Little did I know,

A drop of black was so elegant,

Shall I tell you why,

Because among those glitter,

I found you dark yet simple.

I was drunken of that bliss,

Let me get drown in that liss,

I was floating in the paper boats in the sea,

Cascading in sheer ecstasy and there,

I found you in a chaotic mystery.

Tales were wild and free,

And so were those dry leaves for me,

Crushing those in pieces,

Making my heart a stone,

I found you dealing with harsh realities.

Useless memories and useless realities,

Alone we start, alone we stop.

I crave so hard, I yearn so hard,

For the gem in me,

But all I found is You!
