Finding Happiness

Maybe they’re all a myth

the visage of utter fulfilment,

the perception of sheer serenity,

the sense of pure contentment.

Maybe it’s all a chase

to a void destination

making its way through it all

to reach an unreal solution.

Maybe it’s never about

the idea of absolute happiness

and the intent of reaching it

rather the ecstasies of small wins,

squeezing in moments of joy

along the way of chasing it
