I feel like

I’m suffocating,

Inside my skin,

Nerves crawling;

See through.

I don’t feel like me,

Everything outside;

What’s inside me

Wants to tear out,

Grow like roots.

The scream inside,

Silenced to sleep,

By others words,

Others actions,

Others silence.

Don’t know what

All this will make,

I don’t want to be great,

I just want to be real,

At least to myself.
