Farewell

My best friend, a girl so bright,

Leaves our school with tears in sight,

We've been together since early days,

Sharing laughter, joy, and even the craze.

We laughed together, we cried together,

We played together, and even lied together,

Our bond grew stronger with each passing day,

And now she's leaving, I don't know what to say.

Her smile so warm, her words so kind,

Her presence filled our hearts and mind,

Her departure leaves a void so deep,

A wound so painful that even time can't heal.

She was my partner in crime, my confidante,

My sister, my teacher, my mentor, and even aunt,

She taught me lessons beyond the classroom walls,

And helped me rise whenever I took a fall.

Now as she packs her bags and says goodbye,

I pray for her success, and for her to reach the sky,

I know she'll shine, wherever she goes,

But I'll miss her dearly, and that's just how it goes.

Our memories will last forever, though she's gone,

And in my heart, she'll always have a home,

She's not just my best friend, she's my family,

And no matter where she goes, that's how it will be.
