It’s the family rule

The family rule

Was it all a trap?

Don’t press onto mother

It’s a family rule

Don’t go against father

It’s a family rule

She could strip you naked

He could strip me naked

It can’t hurt

It’s a family rule

Family rule! Family rule!

Lie, lie, lie

Liars, liars, liars

All those lies

They were never family rules

The touch was meant to hurt

The rule to enslave

And he was never to know

He thought it was safe

When he knew

The touch hurt even more

The words pounded even harder

Rules became crueler

And so did mother
